The world feels unsteady.
Particularly if you watch or listen to the world news.
Has anything ever really changed?
The names are different.
Elijah.
Judah.
Jonah.
Are we, as humans, ever really changed?
I feel changed. Thankfully.
But I may not think or sound different.
Tonight I hear the trains.
I hear the wheels on the track.
I hear the whistle.
Where is it going?
Where has it been ?
Who is driving?
Who is happily on board?
Who is scared to get on board?
Who will regret not boarding?
What reasons are there not to board?
Can we catch up with the train later?
I used to believe we only had one chance.
But, we have a lot of chances.
Mercifully we do.
Are you ready?
Why not get on board?
Trust.
See where it goes.
The journey can be rough. Life is rough.
But God is with us.
Thus life
is full of opportunity and joy.
Open your mind.
Open your heart.
Get on board.
