Oh how current news repeats.
There are names in the Bible that immediately conjure up theories. Stories even from our childhood Bible school classes.
You may remember them,
and you may still have a few items.
Tell the truth.
Memorabilia. It touches our heart.
We need to remember we can have the memory without having the item.
All throughout the Bible.
Starting in Genesis.
Adam and Eve of course.
Abraham.
Jacob.
Noah.
And Nick and Lane.
Yes.
We face challenges. It’s natural and healthy.
But stop and think.
Where is our focus each day?
How do we want to be remembered?
Who do we want to be associated with?
How can we change from being associated with popular people to being associated with the Lord? Sure we know both.
Both are ok to acknowledge, and we learn from both.
There’s One that will never let us down.
There is only One that fulfills us.
