Diving into Leviticus

Mercy.
Offerings galore. Not my favorite. Chapter 2 is much better than Chapter 1 pigeon head situation. Goodness.

No lack of direction.

Right away..

If you bring a grain offering baked in an oven, it is to consist of the finest flour: either thick loaves made without yeast and with olive oil mixed in or thin loaves made without yeast and brushed with olive oil

If your grain offering is prepared on a griddle, it is to be made of the finest flour mixed with oil, and without yeast. Crumble it and pour oil on it; it is a grain offering.
Oh but wait. Next section goes into using organ parts. Necessary???
He shall dip his finger into the blood and sprinkle it before the Lord seven times in front of the curtain. Again…necessary?Apparently yes for Chapter 4 says—

And rashes….and mold..Skip Leviticus 15. Trust me.

And, this is to be a lasting ordinance for you: Atonement is to be made once a year for all the sins of the Israelites.

And it was done, as the Lord commanded Moses.
