We can reference many theories on Simon. But my favorite is that he was a really special friend, and he was at the right place at the right time.

God surely surrounds us with comforting friends. Of course at the top of the list is the Holy Spirit.
I encounter the Holy Spirit almost every night. Of course He’s always there.
I wake up in the dark and sense Him. It’s beautiful and comforting beyond explanation.
We should always give thanks for Him.
